Learn how to keep your bike in top condition!

Bikeability Fix is a short bike maintenance session for everyone, which focuses on doing, rather than watching.

Even experienced cyclists will benefit from taking part in Bikeability Fix.

During this 2 hour course you will learn how to:

  • Identify parts of a bike
  • Carry out simple pre-ride bike safety checks
  • Remove an inner tube and fix a puncture
  • Clean and lubricate your chain
  • Adjust brakes
  • Adjust gears

Increasing your ‘fix it, know how’ will help to save you money and increase your confidence when out on a bike ride.  This course is a great place to start your cycling journey.

After the course participants will be presented with a Bikeability Fix certificate and puncture repair kit.

Milton Keynes Council is working in partnership with Cycle Saviours to deliver these bike maintenance courses.

Cycle Saviours are an exciting social enterprise that love saving, refurbishing, repairing, servicing and selling bikes, making cycling accessible to all and encouraging everyone to get on their bikes and explore Milton Keynes.

Booking is essential for this course and places are limited so please respond promptly to emails to ensure your place is secure.  Sessions will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

If you are interested email: providing the participants name, along with the preferred session date.
