National Work Life Week is an opportunity for both employers and employees to focus on well-being at work and work-life balance.
Employers can use the week to show their employees, and potential candidates, how their organisation is striving for a family friendly and flexible working culture. It’s a chance to provide activities for staff, and to showcase flexible working policies and practices.
The week is run by Working Families, the UK’s work life balance charity, and partner organisation Family Friendly Working Scotland.
Employers across the country including Public Health England, Barclays, American Express, Scottish Power, Holiday Extras and Phoenix Insurance took part last year. This week has generated a huge amount of media coverage and reached over three million people on social media.
